The Colourbration Show saw around 200 alpaca come under the judge’s scrutiny and we dominated in the black female section with alpaca Nevalea Kassy awarded 1st place and Champion Black Female, followed by Nevalea Kuri-Dream in 2nd place and Reserve Champion Black Female and the day continued to be successful with other competing alpacas awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings throughout the day.
Nevalea Alpacas was also successful in the alpaca fleece section and was awarded more first placings and two Reserves Champions for Nevalea Kassy’s black cria fleece and Nevalea Kershaw’s white cria fleece.
But the success didn’t stop there, the Colourbration Show also runs a Finished Fleece Product competition, designers from Nevalea Alpacas, Leonie Walker and Kellie Dodd were awarded 1st placings across a range of competition classes and Leonie Walker was awarded People’s Choice for her felted alpaca cushion. Winning garments and products will be on display at Nevalea Alpacas shop.
